Former Aon CEO to lead a new team focused on corporate risk in UK and Europe

Insurance broker, Miller, announced a “major expansion” of its corporate risk business in the UK and Europe.

Ken MacDonald, formerly chief executive of Aon Global UK, joined the firm to lead a new team providing insurance programme design and placement services for major corporate accounts in the UK and Europe.

Greg Collins, head of professional risks, said in a statement: "Miller has been expanding in all its core areas of business and we felt the time was right to take our corporate client offering to the next stage of its development."

MacDonald added. "This is a very exciting time in the corporate insurance market as clients look for objective advice and innovative ways to deal with their complex risk needs."

MacDonald has over 20 years' experience in leading businesses in the major account segment in three geographies across (re)insurance, risk consulting, captives and broking.

Before joining Miller, he was CEO of Aon Global UK and previously led Aon's captive and risk consulting business in Europe and Asia.
