The new cover is designed for investment fund managers
Three new products for directors and officers have been launched by Markel International.
The new products cover liability for directors and officers in investment funds, fund managers and the liabilities arising from securities launches.
The product for fund managers covers directors and officers, the fund management company and the funds they manage in relation to crime, professional indemnity and D&O exposures.
Patrick White, senior directors’ and officers’ (D&O) underwriter at Markel International said: “With these products Markel can now truly cover all aspects and types of risk in the directors’ and officers’ universe.”
Markel International has also “enhanced” its existing directors’ and officers’ wording, expanding the definition of directors and officers, as well as increasing discovery provisions and providing full cover for acquired subsidiaries.
