Marsh has appointed Kevin Tobin as CEO of its private client services (PCS). He will take on the role from 1 August.

Tobin is currently chief operating officer of Marsh’s insurance services businesses (ISB) unit and will take on his new role on 1 August.

He succeeds Lisa Lindsay, who will remain at PCS.

Before joining Marsh, Tobin served in senior positions at Fair Isaac (FICO), Advance Auto, HSBC and Allstate.

ISB president Rob Bentley said: “Kevin brings more than 25 years of experience in innovation and driving profitable growth at insurance and financial services companies.”

Tobin said: “I am thrilled at the opportunity to lead PCS. There is tremendous potential for us to extend our value proposition to high-net worth individuals and families. PCS has a rich history of providing service and value to clients and has a significant opportunity moving forward.”
