Paul Ferris moves up from chief underwriting officer position

Current DUAL International chief underwriting officer Paul Ferris is to become chief risk officer for the DUAL Group, effective immediately.

Ferris will be responsible for overseeing risk, compliance, claims and underwriting governance.

The management reshuffle at DUAL, the underwriting arm of Hyperion Insurance Group, is the next phase of its structural strengthening following a strategic review.

DUAL International deputy chief executive Shane Doyle will take on the new role of chief executive of DUAL’s UK businesses, and will also become DUAL Group chief underwriting officer.

Russell Kilpatrick, in addition to his role as chairman of DUAL UK, will take on the new role of global markets executive director at DUAL International. He will be tasked with supporting DUAL’s specialist product and geographic expansion.
