Airmic will put forward new candidates to its board at its annual general meeting tomorrow as four members step down.

He also announced that Airmic’s fastTrack chair, Kate Wallin has been co-opted onto the board, and Helen Pope, deputy chair, will officially take over as Airmic chair on Wednesday .

McGloin said: “We have had a great and committed team that has thrived on a blend of experienced and new players.

“We have a nine-year board at Airmic so the board rotates naturally after a member has been there for nine years, and this year we say farewell with grateful thanks to Nicholas Bailey, Nicky Harvey, Lisa Connolly, and Elaine Heyworth.

“This of course gives opportunity to new board members and I’m delighted to say that we have had an unprecedented level of interest among the membership to join the board and we will be putting forward four new candidates at the annual general meeting tomorrow.”
