Ellen Rekker succeeds Peter Den Dekker as head of the Dutch risk association

Ellen Rekker, risk and insurance manager for the Dutch Railways, has been appointed the new chairman of NARIM, the Dutch association of risk and insurance managers.

The appointment took place during a board meeting on June 26. It follows a move by former chairman, Peter den Dekker, to the position of president of FERMA (the Federation of European Risk Management Associations).

Den Dekker also retains his position as member of the board of NARIM.

In addition, Frits Schulte, risk and insurance manager, Pon Holdings B.V, was appointed vice chairman, succeeding Jacqueline Plessius, head of insurance for TNT Express, who recently stepped down from the NARIM board.
