In September, FERMA executive manager Florence Bindelle took part in a seminar on financial services in Bulgaria organised by the European Commission's TAIEX programme
The aim of the meeting was to raise awareness of EU financial service directives among the members of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Bindelle's presentation was on FERMA, risk management for businesses, the trends, the risk management standard and Prorim. She also took the opportunity to meet FERMA's member from Bulgaria, Stoian Lilov from the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company in Sofia, who is starting to develop a risk management association in the country.
