Work is under way to develop courses, the first of which are expected to begin in 2006. The training is certain to feature the risk management standard, which has now been translated into 10 European languages.

AIRMIC executive director David Gamble, said, "This grant means that we can begin work on educating a wider public about good risk management. We know that there is an appetite for this type of knowledge."
